Moving to Prague at age 18, she worked as a photographer from 1993 to 1997. When all of her equipment was stolen from her car in 1997, she switched to the other side of the camera.

Her original stage name was Eva, but due to a production error her real name was accidentally published, so at that point she dropped the pseudonym. Zemanová has appeared in a number of United States and United Kingdom pictorial publications (notably Playboy Special Editions and Mayfair).

A low-budget British independent film, Zemanovaload, about a man obsessed with the model, was released in 2005.

Veronica was born in what is now known as the Czech Republic in 1975, when it was still under communist rule and suffering extreme poverty, especially in the farming area where she grew up. On her 18th birthday she moved to the capital of the country, Prague, she had moved away from her parents and spent many of the following years living in hostels and rooms with strangers due to the extreme poverty she was suffering. As she reached twenty she began to become known for her natural beauty and was approached in the street by strangers offering her money for sexual acts and oppurtunities in modelling. This attention scared the naturally shy girl and it meant that she spent a lot of time dressing down and eventually became a photographer herself. After her equipment was stolen at an early stage in her career, she decided to accept an offer of nude modelling.

By the age of 26 she was very popular on the net and had her own official website with thousands of fans signed up to see her weekly updates, but due to a bad personal and business relationship made with her partner she lost both the website and the revenue it had generated since it had began. After this, in 2002, she met her current partner and started up her new official website Veronika-Zemanova.com. The pair got married in 2003 and to this day she continues to model nude for both magazines and updates for the site. She now enjoys her title as one of the world's most famous glamour models and now has strict rules of only shooting in the company of her husband.

With Veronika getting around 53,000 searches per month and Veronica getting 55,000 searches per month. It should be noted that "Veronika" is the correct spelling of her name as she originates from the Czech Republic.
